The graph gives information about the figure for passengers who visit by three different railways in the UK during the period of 55-year from 1950. Overall, it can be seen that there were various trends between the three types of railways. The number of visitors to the National rail network was the highest with 1, 000 million people in 1950, and this figure rose slightly to about 125 million from 1950 to 1960. During the next period of 20-year, there was a significant decrease of approximately 500 million visitors, and this was the lowest number in over the period from 1950 to 2005. Between 1980 and 2005, there was a fluctuation in this period, of the end, the figure for the National rail networks' passengers was as same as the 1960s' number. As the same trend with the national rail network, there was an inconstancy in the figure for the passengers' London underground. But from 1950 to 1975, this figure leveled off about 740 million people, and then, there was a decrease to 500 million people in 1980, but it was not stable. From 1980 to 2005, there was an unstable rise in the number of visitors in London underground, it rose dramatically about 500 million people. On the other hand, the figure for passengers of light rail and metro systems was the lowest in the group of three railways. It can seem that it was established in 1964 and the passengers' number was insignificant, it was about 25 million people and this figure levels off from 1964 to 1980. Throughout 25-year, there was a gradual rise of about 200 million visitors. It can be clear that there were dramatical fluctuation in the number of passengers' national rail network and London underground. But the figure for light rail and metro systems' passengers rose slightly and it was not significant.
