As can be seen from the graph that, mobiles saw the most significant change in the quantity of minutes people using telephone for calling. Additionally, local-fixed line was the most favourite call type in three categories. In 1995, there were more than 70 billions minutes that people in UK used local fixed linefor telephone calls, which was the highest in the chart. In contrast, only nearly 5 billions minutes was the figure for mobiles. Meanwhile, the amount of time citizens in UK using national and international-fixed line was under 40 billions. In 2002, UK witnessed a slight decrease to under 75 billions minutes people who used local-fixed line, which was still the highest in the graph, after reaching a peak in 1999 at 90 billions. While the amount of time citizens using mobiles for telephone calls saw a sharp significant change to more than 40 billions, the figure for national ans international-fixed line gradually increased to 60 billions
