The graph chart shows the number of people in education in Britain from 1970/71 to 1990/91 and whether they were having full-time or part-time education.
Overall, the tendency in growth for both kinds of education is clear on the contemporary part-time education was more popular than full-time through the whole period of time. It is also visible that number for female’s education overrated male’s by 1990/91.
At the beginning of the period, there wer over 1000 men who studied and women had less number compared to them. But women’s number was growing steadily and reached a peak in 1990/91 of more than 1200. While numbers of females were increasing in both education systems, male’s numbers for part-time education were decreasing steadily to over 800.
Part-time education has been more popular for females than males over the period; however, numbers for man’s became lower than women in the end. Unlike part-time education, which remained popular for all people, and almost doubled its numbers by 1990/91.
To sum it up, we can see the growth for both educations. As we see bigger growth in numbers for females in part-time education and higher numbers of men in part-time education.
