The line graph illustrates the millions of amount used in cell phone and residential phone service by Americans from 2001 to 2010.
Analyzing the data, in 2001, around $700 used on residential phones, whereas just $200 used on cell phone services. However, cell phone expenditure increased in 2002, while residential phone expenditure declined. In addition, cell phone expenditure crossed $400 in the year 2004. Conversely, residential phone expenditure dropped around $550 in the same year.
Interestingly, in 2006 both cell phone and residential phone used money were similar, it was almost above $5. Over the period of two years, cell phone expenditure surpassed the residential expenditure. Eventually, at the end of the period, housing phone reached approximately $400. By contrast, the mobile phone was top of the list of expenditure usage money in 2010.
Overall, it can be seen that the cell phone used the money increased, while residential phone expenditure fell during the ten years period. And also, cell phone expenditure exceeding the housing phone.
