The graph below shows the types of transport used by tourists who visited New Zealand from five countries in 2004. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart illustrates four different means of transport that visitors from five countries used to take a trip to New Zealand in 2004. Overall it is clear that cars were the most used by tourists from four out of five nations to visit New Zealand. Meanwhile, Japanese tourists traveled to the country by air the most. The percentage of visitors traveling to New Zealand by car was 60% in British, which was nearly 10% higher than the figure for German. While there was the same proportion of British visitors traveling by air and ferry, at around 35%, the percentage of tourists from German visiting by ferry was doubled that of those who traveled by air (48% and 24%). Under 20% of tourists using a coach to visit New Zealand in both countries. In Japan, over half of the tourists from traveling to New Zealand by air compared to only 30% of tourists from Korea and 11% from Australia. The coach was the second most used by Japanese visitors, at just over 50%, which was higher than those of visitors from Korea and Australia, at 40% and 8% respectively. By contrast, while only about 25% of tourists from Japan used cars to travel to New Zealand, the figures for Korea and Australia were 50% and 45% respectively. Ferry was used by 15% of Australian tourists to travel to New Zealand, about 5% higher than those of the other two countries
