The graphs provide information on students, both native and international, taking admission and commencing in Australian universities in a period of 2001 to 2010. Overall, numbers of both national and internatinal students rose in case of total admissions. Numbers of international students rose around four time in ten year period, around 2000 per year to approximetly 80000 per year over the ten year time period whereas number of local students only grew 1/2 time, about 40000 to 60000 first six year period and then remain quite steady for next four years. In case of international students, commencing in australian universities, the numbers rose steadily from around 10000 to 40000 in years 2001 to 2009 and after that there a plateaue could be seen. whereas the commencing rate of local studnets did not had any significant growth.
