The three maps delineate how the town of Brindell and its surroundings had altered over three centuries from 1800 to 2000.
Overall, the area of Brindell tremendously changed over the given period and transformed from an agricultural place to a residential and industrial hub.
Initially, in 1800, the four areas were separated by river stour(which is in the center) and Brindell town was situated in the SouthWest of the river. There were two agricultural zones: farmland for crops and animals in North and East of Brindell respectively. A large chunk of the area was occupied by woodland at the NorthEast corner. In the following century, a few noticeable changes had taken place. Mainly, the entire grazing area had been converted into an industrial zone in the upper half while in the lower half, a new Bun Hill village was constructed.
Moreover, in the following century, drastic changes can be observed in the area as Brindell town expanded in size (almost double). The farmland as well as the forest area had shrunk in size to make way for a new Bun Hill park. Also, many more industries were opened and the overall size of bun hill was augmented.
