The amount of transported stuffs in million tonnes in the UK during the period of 1974 and 2002 in four different kinds of transport is revealed in the given graph. It is worth noting that goods which transported through road, water, and rail rose insignificantly over the time while pipeline mode experienced pleatau in the last seven years. Turning into details, in the beginning year the number of things transported by water and rail systems approximately 40 million tonnes, 42% less than water mode. There were fluctuate patterns in between and it reached the peak in the end year of 2002 which were almost 100, 000, 000 tonnes for road way while water and rail systems 65 and 41 million tonnes respectively.
