The bar chart illustrates the amount of energy produced from coal in three nations between 1995 and 2015. It is clear that the quantity of power production from coal in Algeria was highest at the start of the period, which was overtaken by the figure for Romania in the final year. Similarly, while the electricity production in Algeria and Saudi Arabia declined sharply, the figure for Romania saw an opposite trend. Nearly 130 million of tones was the amount of energy generation in Algeria in 1995. Over a period of 20 years, it significantly decreased by 45 million to 85 million. At the same time, the figure for Saudi Arabia was 80 million at the beginning of the period. It reached a peak of 100 million before dramatically dropping to 40 million of tones in 2005. In contrast, Romania produced 40 million of power from coal in 1995. After 20 years, it hit the highest point of 100 million, which was five times as high as that in Saudi Arabia.
