The graph illustrates the population figures of 4 different types of turtles in India from years 1980 to 2012. As, Depicted in the chart all of the 4 types of turtles were 100 in number in 1980. Toward the next years the number of leatherback turtles took a dip in 1982 started to rise up in next years till 1987. Soon after 1987 their number started to decline and never increased. Focusing on green turtles, Their number also took a dip in 1987 but after that the species maintained a stable number towards 2012. Talking about olive Ridley turtles, Their number started to rise up till 1997 and maintained a steady pace since. Over all talking about all the species, They maintained a steady record throughout 1980 to 2012. In conclusion all the species took a dip in 1987 except the olive Ridley turtles, although, all the species including the olive Ridley turtles showed a decrease in number in 2012 compared to 1980.
