The chart displays the percentage of the population of an European nation that attend movie theaters on various days in the years of 2003, 2005 and 2007. Overall, Saturday was the most popular day to watch movies across all three years. In contrast, Monday and Wednesday had the lowest attendance in 2003 and 2007, respectively. Moreover, the peak of visits to the cinema occurred on Saturday 2005, with 45% of people, a 5% increase over the previous period. Despite falling slightly to above 40%, Saturday was still the top day to watch movies. A similar trend can be witness on Sundays and Mondays, which rose respectively from 10% to around 14% and 30% to around 34%, only to tumble to slightly 10 and 30 percent. In contrast, Tuesday, Wednesday amd Thursday all experienced a decrease in the ratio of people going to the cinemas in 2007, comparing to 2003, in spite of a small growth between 2005 and 2007. Wedneday in particular, which fell from just above 15% in the start of the period to about 8%, became the least popular day to watch movies.
