The line graph gives information about the number of visitors traveling to one of the Caribbean islands in the span of 7 years. Overall, it is evident that the total number of visitors consistently grew over the years. At the same time, more tourists preferred to stay on the island comparing to those who were interested in staying on cruise ships with an exception in the years 2016 and 2017, when the proportions of two groups of people have changed. In 2010, starting at approximately 0. 25 million, the number of people who visited the Caribbean island jumped to 0. 5 million in 2011, followed by a decrease in 2012. Also, this figure gradually increased to 2 million in 2017. Meanwhile, in terms of visitors who opted to stay on ships, the number of those started at less than 1 million and remained steady till the year 2011 when it witnessed a consistent rise to 1. 5 million in 2013. The figure was constant for the next two years, followed by a slight drop in 2016, although it again reached the point of 1. 5 million visitors in 2017. On the other hand, starting at 1 million in 2010, the total number of visitors had a consistent increase till 2015 reaching over 2. 5 million people, followed by another drastic rise to 3. 5 million in 2017.
