The chart given illustrates how many visitors visit a particular Caribbean island from 2010 to 2017. It was clear that the total number of visitors had gradually grown up through this period. The number of visitors who chose to stay on the island had increased until 2015, while the date for tourists staying on cruise ships overwhelmingly went up between 2010 and 2017. A great growth occurred in the total number of tourists, which climbed from 1 to 3. 5 million in these years. The number of visitors staying on the island grew to 1. 2 million in 2012, whereas the number of tourists visiting on cruise ships decreased to 0. 25 million. However, numbers for people staying on the island and staying on ships both saw a growth in the following years, which were 1. 5 million and 1. 2 million respectively in 2015. After that, the number of tourists staying on the island fell by 0. 3 million, but it went back to the same level as that of 2015. By contrast, the number of visitors staying on ships continued to go up, which was 2 million in 2017.
