The graph illustrates average number of hours in the whole day spent watching television by off springs from 1950 to 2010. Overall, the most striking feature of the graph is that the maximum number of hours spent on Television viewing by children is in mid of 1990. Looking at the details, in 1950, the television viewed by children was less than 30 minutes which had slightly raised to more than 30 minutes in 1960. Furthermore, a sudden increase can be observed in the number of hours spent on television from less than hour to 4 hours per day between 1960 and 1980. Apart from this, a fluctuation can be seen in the viewing hours during the period of 10 years. After that, from 1990 to 2000, children have spent more than 4 hours which has been the maximum number of hours throughout the period. Additionally, viewer's hours has been declined gradually to less than 4 hours in the next 10 years.
