The chart shows the percentage of male and female teachers in six different types of educational settings in the UK in 2010. K8GL
The bar chart presents the statistics of male and female teachers in six different types of scholarly setting in the United Kingdom in the year 2010. The data is in percentages. Overall it is seen, that a bigger percentage of the people in lower levels of education are women and as the academic level increases, the percentage of men do as well. Up until collage, there are a lot more females in education. In Pre-School and primary school they make around 95% of the enrolled children. This gap shrinks down to a mere 10% in secondary school and completely vanishes in collage. The male population seem to be the complete opposite of this, after the equality in collage, women start to drop out of the education system, but men stay in it up until University. The phenomenon is seen in a small scale in Private training institutes. The gap is there again albeit small, its almost 10%. It can be observed that in university, with the declining female population in high level education, there is a 50 percent difference between the two.
