The line graph depicts the quantities of foreigners travelling to Australia per year from 1975 to 2005, while the bar chart describes the number of visitors to Australia from six different countries in 1975 and 2005. Overall, as can be seen from the line graph, there was a dramatic upward trend in the number of overseas people coming to Australia over the given period. Meanwhile, based on the bar chart, it is clear that the area which had the highest number of residents visiting was Japan in both 1975 and 2005. Between 1975 and 1980, the quantities of foreign travellers going to Australia considerably went up by almost 5 million. Then that continued its upward trend more sharply to roughly 27 million people. In Japan, most visitors went to Australia in two years (1975 and 2005) which had respectively over 3 million and approximately 11 million. In 1975, the number of South Korean who came to Australia stood at 3 million, which was 5 million residents lower than that in 2005. Moreover, the quantities of Canadian visitors accounted for only a million in 1975 and after 30 years, there was a significant increase of 3 million people. Similarly, the number of British in 1975 visiting to Australia made up under 1 million, whereas that in 2005 was mildly higher (roughly 3 million).
