The graph illustrates the different types of mode of transport people in the UK used to travel during 1970 and 2030. Overall, it is estimated that more people will likely to travel in cars and trains while the demand for buses was decreasing and continuing to decrease furthermore. In 1970, there were about 11 million travelers in the UK from that there were 5 million uses cars, 4 million uses buses, and 2 million people use trains at that time. The figure remained the same from 1970 to 1980 but after 1980 there was a rise in the number of travelers who uses cars and trains and this trend was seen till 2000. From 2000 to 2010, the figure for cars and trains remain stable whereas a decline in the number of travelers in buses was seen. From 2010 to 2030, it was predicted that there was an exponential increase in the number of people who used cars and trains as the number of people will be using cars will reach 9 million users while the number of people using trains will reach about 5 million travelers.
