The Presented line chart illustrates the proportion of the United Kingdom audiences’ using television and radio throughout one day in 1992. It is evident from the graph that the ratio of the people watching the television was more than the percentage of the people listening to the radio. According to what is apparent, the proportion of audiences using the radio increased from 8 per cent at 6: 00 morning to reach the peak point at 28 per cent approximately by 8: 30 am. However, the ratio of the people declined significantly to represent 2 per cent by 5: 00 am. Apart from this, the percentage of UK citizens watching television increased from 0. 1 per cent at 6: 00 morning to represent 45 per cent approximately by 7: 30 pm. Meanwhile, the ratio decreased to reach the minimum point at 3: 30 am to represent 1 per cent. Furthermore, the proportion of audiences using the radio and television represented the same percentage at 1: 00 pm. To conclude, we could say that the people listening to the radio presented the highest ratio during morning hours, while the people watching the television presented the highest percentage throughout night hours.
