The graph below shows population figures for India and China since the year 2000 and predicted population growth up until 2050

A glance at the graph provided striking differences between the amount of population in India and China during the period from 2000 to predicted 2050. It is evident that, figure of India saw a considerable increase and likely to grow significantly, whereas the population of China peaks minimally and is bound to even out. Increasing from approximately 1 billion of China's citizens in 2000 to 1. 3 billion in 2010, the number of people in China then boomed to 1. 4 billion in 2020. This is bound to remain steadily, with the population in the country will have levelled off approximately 1. 4 billion by 2030. After that, consequently, the population of China is set to remain unchanged in this figure by 2050. In sharp contrast to this, the number of people in India increased slowly at somewhere from 1. 0 billion to about 1. 19 billion between 2000 and 2010 years. Then, this growth is likely to continue sharply to 1. 4 billion, that will have reached China's population by 2030. This will allow by another increase, at much steeper, to 1. 6 billion in 2050, that will be higher than China for 200 million. It is interesting to note that, the population of both countries increased and will boom, but the number of individuals in China is predicted to rise insignificantly than India.
