The graph below shows population figures for India and China since the year 2000 and predicted population growth up until 2050. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The data given in the line graph depicts the changes in population two different countries namely India and China from 2000 to 2050 with a prediction. Overall, it can be observed from the graph both countries rose significantly, whereas India is expected to take popularity in 2050. In 2000, 1. 0000 billion people occupied in India which is forecasted to increase dramatically to about 1. 4500 billion people in 2030. By contrast, just about 1. 2800 billion inhabitants lived in China. By the following three decades the figure inclined steadily to 1. 4500 billion people, Although the figures both countries are similar in 2030, China is predicted to decline gradually to 1. 4000 billion people by 2050. However, India will show the highest trend which is expected to grow by 2000 billion people to 1. 6000 billion in 2050
