The line graph illustrates the average amount of vehicles of carbon dioxide per individual in four different European countries during the years 1967 and 2007.
Overall, the highest proportion of CO2 emissions per person initially was in the UK and Sweden; however, after a certain period of time it declined sharply. On the other hand, in Italy and Portugal this rate was at a low level, but for the following period it has increased steadily.
The highest amount of fumes was in the UK, where an average person produced more than 10 metric tonnes of carbon. In Sweden the situation as well as in the UK was exaggerated, the figure of which was at the level of 9 metric tonnes approximately. Regardless of these indicators, after the year 1977 the numbers were declined in both of these countries, specifically in Sweden dramatically.
Both other two states, people wasted the atmosphere primarily not in a considerable amount, whereas during the next 40 years, the situation has changed dramatically. In Italy the numbers of emissions per person almost doubled, while in Portugal this proportion tripled and in 2007 was at the same level as in Sweden by the means of vehicles.
