Overall, it can be seen from the graph that there were considerable fluctuations in both countries during the 30 years between 1920 and 1950. The graph highlightes that China's birth rate reached the peak of 20% in 1950 from 10 percent in 1920. Then it sharply decreased by 1955(approximately 8%) and the figure gradually fell until the end of the given period and finished with around 4% while USA depicted higher rate(about 7%) in 2000 whereas it had started with about 11% and after rising several decades it faced dramatical downing in 1935, then it maintained the stable of 5% until 1945.
