The pie chart illustrates the proportion of five types of energy production by France in 1995 and 2005.
Overall, in both the years gas has been the predominant element in the energy production as it accounts for almost 30% of the produce, following it is coal and together gas and coal contribute to the half of the production. While nuclear and the other kinds have generated the least amount of energy in France.
On comparing, we observe that only petro and the other kinds have seen a decline in 2005 whereas gas, coal and nuclear have increased production to almost 2% as that in 1995. An elevation of about 5% in production by other types is noticed in the 10 year period.
The energy produced by coal comprised 29. 8% in the first year and this showed only a very slight increase of about a mere 1% to 30. 9%. On the other hand, there is an increase of around 4% for the production by Nuclear in the 5-year gap i. e. 6. 40% to 10. 10%.
