Some interesting data concerning the amount of money invested on petrol by the United States and the United Kingdom, are revealed in the graph. The data are grouped into three categories that are the poorest people, those with a middle income and the richest one. The most significant fact is that while in the Unites state the trend is downward throughout the three groups, in the United Kingdom is upward. Moving to a more detailed analysis, for the poorest people in the UK, the consume of petrol start at a 0, 5% of their income whereas in America accounts for almost the 4%. With the rise of the income in UK, a sharp increase of the usage of petrol occurs simultaneously. First of all, it more than doubles nearly reaching a 3% before switching to the income of the middle group, and then it steadily goes up in the middle-income and richest group, closing the trend at a 3, 5%. Moreover, A peak of 4% is hit in the richest band. For the US, instead, there is a different tendency, with a peak of a bit above the 5% in the poorest’s income, followed by a dramatic drop over the consume of the middle-income group, a significant low of approximately 2. 5% is touched by the people with the highest wage.
