The graph and table below show the average monthly temperatures and the average number of hours of sunshine per year in three major cities.

Given are line graph and table showing how average temperatures have changed during a-year period and annual hours of sunshine in three regions: London, New York and Sydney. The main feature is that as the warmest region during a year, Sydney showed the opposite trend to the rest two cities. Turning to the detail, between January and July, the temperature of Sydney declined steadily from around 26 to just over 15, while both London and New York showed rather remarkable increase of about 15 and 26 respectively. July onwards, the situation changed. The figure for Sydney rose to 25 in December, whereas the temperature of London went down to just below 10 and New York to 5 in December. As to the table, London was marked as the coldest area, showing 1, 180 hours a year. Both New York and Sydney on the other hand showed rather similar figures of 2535 and 2473 each.
