The line graph provides data about worldwide wateruse while the table illustrates water consumption in Brazil and Republic of Congo. Overall, the line graph demonstrates how water is utilised globally in Argriculture, Industrial and domestic sectors over the years 1900 to 2000. It is clear that although the water usage has increased for all three sectors over the years, Agriculture uses water the most. From the table we understand that Brazil requires significantly more amount of water owing to factors like population and irrigated land. Agriculture water requirements were consiberable at 500 ltrs to begin with in 1900, while they were negligible in Industrial and domestic catergories. This requirement only continues to increase and by 1920 and 1940 it had increased marginally. It then increased exponentially and by the end of 2000, the water requirement was 3000 lts. Water usage is comparable for Domestic and industrial purposes which are plateaued until 1960 and 1940 respectively at 0 approximately. From there, this too, witnesses a sharp incline and by 2000 it had reached 300 lts and 1000 lts respectively. Water Consumption in Brazil is far greater with each person using 359 m3 as compared the republic of Congo where water consumption per person stands at 9 m3. The population and irrigated land are noticeably higher in Brazil than in Congo at 176 million and 26500 km square respectively.
