The given pie charts show the energy produced from different sources in a country between 1985 and 2003. It is clear from the data given that the largest proportion of the energy produced in the year 1985 was from the oil with having more than half of the sources that were used to generate energy, which significantly got reduced by the year 2003 with the drop to 39%. It is good to know that the renewable source came into more action by 2003 with 4% which was only 1% in the year 1985.
There is one source that remain constant during the period 1985 to 2003, was the Hydrogen with 4% in the mentioned period. The most increased source of energy was the natural gas which was 13% in 1985 and went up to 23% by the year 2003, it is a good source to produce energy as the emission of the greenhouse gases is very much less in this source.
Also, the use of the nuclear energy was reduced by some extent i. e. , 4% by the year 2003 which is again good news as the use of nuclear energy is much more dangerous as it produces harmful radiations and is a threat to the living beings.
Concluding these passage, it can be said that the use of the renewable sources are increasing and the use of other harmful sources to produce energy is getting decreased.
