The given maps demonstrate clearly the development which was occurred in Felixstone in the UK from 1967 to 2001. A glance at the maps shows that Felixstone is a coastal town with fishing and traveling services were the essentially economic businesses of its residents. During the given period, while most of its facilities were modified significantly to make the Felixstone become expert in traveling, there were some buildings that were remained unchanged such as the golf course, the dunes in the west and a row of shops. In 1967, the large farmland located in the east of the town, however in 2001, they demolished it to erect the advanced hotel area with two tennis courts and a swimming pool. Besides, both the left row of shops along the high street were replaced completely with the apartments and there were a construction of the wind turbines in the southwest of the map after 34 years period. Especially, the marina, the pier and the fish market were destroyed and the beach appeared in this area which are divided into private beach and public beach. Moreover, there was a slight movement of the café from near the center hotel to beside the main street and this hotel was renovated with a large car park in the left of it. On the other hand, the golf and the dunes still existed in the same position although there were a lot of changes in Felixstone between 1967 and 2001 and the right row of shops was still remained.
