The given line chart shows us the birth rate, death rate and, population size of England and Wales between 1700 and 2000. As we can see death rate decreased and the birth rate increased and also population size grew significantly throw these years.
In 1700, the birth rate and death rate were 30 and 24 per thousand people respectively. From 1700 to 1750 both rates grow up dramatically. For the next fifty years, these numbers approximately remained at the same level. In the 150 years later, these rates had started the downward trends. In the first and third fifty years both rates fell dramatically, however in the second fifty years, they stabilized. In contrast to all previous years, in the last fifty years, death and birth rates act differently. The death rate didn’t change and remained at 20 death per 1000 people however, the birth rate grew up about 75% and reached 34 birth per 1000 people. On the other hand, population size experienced a surprisingly upward trend and only from 1750 to 1800 leveled off. In these 300 years, England and Wale's population had increased 25 times.
