It is clear from the graph, in the first given decade of 1930, the numbers of imprisonment in Great Bretain were least among all at almost 30, 000 only, wheres all other countries had significantly more numbers than that of Bretain. Australia had more than half of the number of Bretain, while New Zealand & United States, being at per, at 100, 00 each were more than triple toped the numbers of imprisonment at 1, 20, 000. During the nect three decads, the number of imprisorment in the Great Britain showed a study rise and reached at almost 60, 000, while Australia for first two decades come down to almost half of the numbers than that of 1930 then in 1960 reached back to the number of 1930 at 70, 000. Also, New zealand shoe simillar fall & rise to come down at almost 80, 000 in 1960. While United states & canada kept switching their top position in numbers of imprisonment. In 1970, Great Bretain, Australia & New Zealand surprisingly came to same numbers of imprsonment at around 70, 000 eac, while Canada and United States also, showing a decline, stood close to the other three at 85, 000 & 90, 000 respectively. In the last given decade that is 1980saw a remarkable variety in the numbers of imprisonment in this countries. Great Bretain, New Zealand & Canada rose only slightly in these numbers, wheres Australia came down to as low as almost 50, 000. United States reached the peak, at almost 1, 40, 000 & stood why ahed all the other given countries, in the number of imprisonment. From the given data, we can observe that, by 1980, United states out numberd all the other mentioned countries in the figures of imprisonment. Showing the opposite trend, Australia showed the highest decline in the number of imprisonment.
