The given drawing illustrates how chocolate is manufactured in a variety of stages. From an overall perspective, it is obvious that the process involves ten main steps, beginning with collecting cocoa beans and the liquid chocolate is produced in the final step. As can be seen from the diagram, the process commences with the harvest of ripe red pods from cocoa trees which are grown in South America, Africa and Indonesia. Subsequently, the white beans are detached from the red pods for fermentation under numerous big leaves. Once the beans have been fermented, they are spread under the sun to dry before being packed in large sacks. Regarding remaining stages, all bags of beans are delivered to the factory by train or lorry. These beans are then put in an oven for roast at the temperature of 350°C. After being roasted, the beans continue to be put in a grinner where they are crushed and the outer shells are removed. Following this, the inner part assembled in the previous stage is pressed by a specialized machine. Finally, the liquid chocolate is obtained.
