The given chart provides information about the number of tourists visiting a specific Caribbean island between 2010 and 2017. Between 2010 and 2015, the total number of visitors increased year after year. Specifically, in 2010, one million visitors visited the island, one-fourth of which stayed on cruise ships and others on the island. The total number experienced a slight growth (approximately 25% of the previous number)) in the following four years, where the 'visitors staying on cruise ships' line escalated mildly but the other line levelled off. The total number of tourists climbed gradually in the next four years reaching virtually 2. 75 million visitors yearly. During this time, the number of visitors staying on cruise ships fluctuated briefly whereas the number of people staying on the island grew sharply shortly and levelled off in the last three years reaching 1. 5 million visitors. From 2015 to 2016, the total number didn't change and it can be perceived from the graph that the visitors were more eager to stay on cruise ships rather than the island. After that, the total number escalated sharply reaching its highest point (3. 5 million visitors) in 2017. Overall, this particular Caribbean island is attracting more tourists each year ( except 2015 and 2016) and two of the most popular types of stay is staying on a cruise ship or the island.
