The given bar graph illustrates how many students in two genders, male and female studying six various major subjects at a US university in 2010. As transparent from the graph, it is obvious that finance was the most attractive subject for both genders while the opposite was true for engineering. There was a biggest difference in the number of males and females studying mathematics. As can be seen from the graph, finance attracted equally the number of males and females, with around 220 students while there was more 40 female students than male ones in the subject of accounting, at roughly 140 and 200 students respectively. In term of mathematics, the number of males was nearly 4 times as many as the females. Looking at the chart specifically, marketing was chosen by the number of female students than that of males one, with 140 students and 60 students respectively.
