The given bar chart describes the monthly expenditure in dollars of a household in the USA on food, gas and clothing in the first four months of 2010. Overall, it can be clearly seen from the bar chart that most of the domestic spending on average was in March. Besides, the total expenditure on clothing during the period was the highest. At the beginning, in January, the most money was used for food, at nearly 500$. Although expenditure on food went up slightly in the next month, it then experienced a noticeable decline and became the lowest spending of all the products at the end of the period at just over 300$. In the first two months of 2010, people spent less money for gas, at just over 300$ and 200$ respectively. However, in March, the expenditure on gas climbed gently at over 350$ and then rose wildly at the end of the period. In terms of clothing, in January, family members used approximately 200$ for clothing but one month later, this spending increased dramatically to under 600$. Although there was a significant decrease of nearly 250 $ in clothing expenditure, it then was dominant with approximately 700$ at the last month.
