The given bar chart and line graph represent the gender and the number of attendees joining in the Olympic when it was held in 1924 until 2012. Overall, it is obvious from the bar chart that both two genders underwent an increase trend and the number of men was always higher than that in female gender. Meanwhile, in the line graph, we can see that the quantity of participants rose slightly through the period. In the bar chart, the number of men in Olympic rose gradually and almost double from 3000 in 1924 to approximately 6000 in 2012. Although the quantities of women contribution to the games was always lower than men in all four years, the number of female gender presented in Olympic changed dramatically. There has been a significant growth by about 4300 women over 88 years. Turning to the line graph, there was an upward trend in the number of participant joining in the Olympic. This number hit the highest point at over 10000 athletes in the last year of the period.
