The line graph illusterates how many bananas which were imported to four countries namily: Japan, France, German and USA, over a decade between 1996 and 2004. Units are measured in KG In general, what stands out from the graph is that, there were a considerable upward trends in the imported for bananas of both German and Japan, while France and USA saw a fluctuation and also remained stable over the period in question. Looking at the details, if we look at German and Japan, it started to araound 1. 5 in 1996, and then it hit a peak and leveled off over the next three years, at which point it rose steadily to around 2. 0 in 2002, next, there were significant decrease in the imported bananas, finishing to around 1. 7 at the end of the periond. Regarding Japan, the trend was simila, ot intiated 2. 0 in the first year, at which point there was then a gradual rise in the imported zone at around 2. 5 in the firs half of the decade. Subsequently, it flactuated and then leveled off to around 2. 0 in 2004. By contrast, with respect to France and USA, the trend started 2. 0 and then it rose slightly to around 2. 1 untill it remained stable in the last two yeras. As for USA, the last imported country was USA, following this the United States began the period importing 1 U per KG of bananas and the number fluctuated with a narrow range, finishing at 1. 2 in 2004.
