The chart bellow illustrates the amount of money in France and UK spent on 5 types consumers goods namely cars, computers, books, perfume, and cameras in 2010. The units are measured in pounds sterling (£). Overall, The highest expenditure was spent on cars over the others consumer goods in both countries. The UK bought more consumer goods compared to France. France spent higher amount of money on perfume and computers compared to The UK. The UK and France highest expenditure were £450, 000 and £400, 000, respectively which were spent on cars. Camera in the UK was more popular item to purchase (£350, 000) with huge margin compared to France ( £150, 000). In Addition, The same trend occurred on books in which the UK expend £100, 000 more money than France. Therefore, there were approximately £350, 000 margin of the expenditure between the UK and France. In the other hand, French purchased perfume with big margin approximately £60, 000 more than the UK. The expenditure of both countries on computer were slightly different in which France used their money around £25, 000 more than the UK.
