The bar graph provides information on the number of trips by children between the ages of 5 to12 who travelled to and from school by various transportation system in a country in the year 1990 and 2010 respectively. Overall, walking was the most popular way of getting to schools for students, while car will become increasingly popular among them over the next 10 year. In 1990, 12 million trips were made by students on foot. Hence, it was the most popular mode of transport, while the bus is the second-best option among them at around 7 million. Cycling is the next commonly used vehicle, which is just over 6 million, followed by walking and bus, which is just under 6 million. The least used vehicle was used by car users with just over 4 million. In the meantime, the number of cars has increased dramatically to around 11 million trips in 2010. Walking, which was one of the most widely used modes of transportation, dropped significantly to 6 million. The trips on foot and by bus were reduced by around 3 million and bus drivers also experienced the same fate with over 5 million. The least travelled transport is with 2 million cycles
