The diagram illustrates how to manufacture ceramic pots. Overall, it can be easily seen that there are 4 main stages in the manufacturing of ceramic pots, beginning with collecting the raw materials and delivering them to the factory and ending with colour firing in an oven. The process commences when raw materials (soil, sand, …) are dug by excavators and delivered to the factory on trucks. In the next stage, they are crushed by a construction machine called crasher, then the mixture including them and water is put in moulds to form a pot shape. After drying 4-6 days, clay (đất sét) pots (lọ, nồi) are taken out. The next stage is assembled clay pots in a 1000 degree Celsius oven. Following that, they are covered a colour layer and baked (nung) again. Eventually, finished pots called ceramic pots are delivered to retail shops or end users on trucks.
