Overall, heating accounts for the highest energy consumption and the largest proportion of CO2 emitted belongs to water-heating. According to given data, heating is the most common choice of Australians, at 42%, followed by that of water-heating at approximate 30%. Refrigeration consumed 7% of total energy consumption in an Australian household, which is larger than that required for cooling and lightening.
