The first graph illustrates the quantity of fruit production and the use of fertilizer by a farm on a regular monthly basis all over the year 2010, while the second graph shows the amount of rainfall in the mentioned year. Overall, it is clear that the fruit production has an inverse relationship with the rainfall received, whereas it has an insignificant relation with the amount of fertilizer. As per the charts, during the first four months of the year, when there is a significant amount of rainfall (between 10 to 16 mm), the fruit production is fixed around 2. 5 tones. That is much less than the next five months. Between may and September fruit production dramatically increase and this is from 2. 5 to 4. 25 tones. In the last three months of year, rainfall becomes heavy again, whereas the production fall sharply to reach 2 tones by December. On the other hand the amount use of fertilizer is almost not effective on the amount of production. It means only an exact amount of fertilizer is needed which is nearly 0/5 tones per month.
