The establishment of smart phones

It is argued that the establishment of smartphones is harming social communication nowadays. But there is a more persuasive argument that smartphones create a new type of communication in our life. On the one hand, smartphones will create a big gap in human beings, which means that they will prefer communicating with each other via smartphone over meeting face-to-face. A potential reason for the given phenomenon is that people are too lazy to step out of the house because of air pollution. For instance, in 2019 Alex from China was busy working with a hectic schedule so that he didn’t have time to meet his friends. After 2 months of remaining in the same place, he suffered from a strong depress and it took nearly 3 months to find a cure However, smartphones are also a new device for people to communicate with their friends. Among the innovation of smartphones, various kinds of applications such as messenger or Instagram, are also an innovative way to contact your neighbor. Besides that, creating a new relationship is also a potential reason for this argument. Nowadays, people would like to make friends, who have the same passion and hobbies as them. Take Alice as an example, she and her fiance knew each other via Facebook in 2010, after 2 months of being friends and figured out that they had the same taste and hobbies. Then they decided to meet face-to-face and became a couple. A long story short, we can not deny that there are some consequences of smart phone but smart phones still have a bigger impact on our way of communicating
