The diagrams illustrate how the water supply system in Australia works at the present time and possible changes in this system later on. Overall, the primary modification is related to the use of recycled water in the city. The present water supply can’t be recycled after used. But in the future, water now has been reused. As can be seen from the current water supply system, pure water is stored in a dam before being transferred to a city to be used by households, shops, and factories. From the city, stormwater is directed straight into the river. At the same time, wastewater will be sent to the water treatment plant and discharged to the river after the water is safe. On the other hand, it is clear that the storage of pure water in the dam and the uses of it in the city remain unchanged. However, used water and storm water from households, factories, shops, and the city will be sent to the water treatment plant. In here, the water now has been recycled completely. Eventually, the water will be back for usage in the city.
