The diagram illustrates species salmon fish in the life cycle. Overall, some places are needed for salmons to grow and survive. Also, different sizes are determined from their locations to live. Initially, salmon eggs live in the upper river, placing with slow current movement, while there are plants of reeds and small stones which maintain eggs for many predators in the water, and they usually thrive there almost a half year. Afterwards, they become the fry with size 3-8 cm, and the groups of fry move to lower river in a fast flowing current during 4 years. In the next stages, the fry grows into smolt with the measure 12-15 cm, then the smolts can be seen in the sea, while they survive in there for 5 years. For along it, the growing of smolts becomes adult salmons with 70-76 cm size, and those do the marriage in open sea. After that, if the spawning is wanted by the adults, they will swim back to river and put salmon eggs in upper river plants.
