The picture here illustrates about the working structure of a wave-energy device & its placement. As a whole, among the two pictures the first picture shows the electricity generation process with a wave energy device while the another shows the where the machine placement is effective. Here, the water level plays a significant role. At first, the electricity generating machine is placed under water where different parameters works simultaneously. Towards the wave direction the air flows from the bottom reason where parallely the air also enter through the top reason of upper chamber. The turbine placed between with air pressure moves to generate electricity. Looking for second diagram, it clearly shows the two places where the wave energy device is kept giving two different outputs. One of the device kept nearby the land having small waves generates less electricity because of low water level. Moreover, the first device kept at lower water level has low installation cost. While the second device under higher water level generates higher output that is high electricity but this has high installation costs.
