The set of map illustrates noticeable changes in the seaside town of Seaville, over a thirty-year period, from 1980 to 2010. In 1980, Seaville was small and contained fewer accommodating facilities such as holiday cottages and a small hotel. While, east bank was located in the far to the east side of the river. On the west-south coastline, there was holiday cottages situated throughout the road. Also, there was marsh to the east of cottages and woodland to the north. Apart from this, there was a tea room and sand dunes near the sea-beach. However, the village had grown drastically by 2010. Retirement villages had been built to the west of the main road. The marsh had been excluded and cottages demolished in order to construct permanent houses, although a hotel remained as it is to the north. Moreover, both a new high-rise hotel and holiday cottages on East bank had been constructed. The woodland area to the north had been converted into golf course by 2010. Overall, the village had undergone major development over the 30 year period. Both various infrastructure and new amenities had been built throughout the period.
