The diagram provides information about the percentage of people who experienced unhappiness according to their sexual and old. Overall, it can clearly be seen that older people suffered less dejection in the comparison to the younger. However, the number of depressed women were higher than men and the average in for age groups, which was especially highest at the age of 40 – 59. Looking at the rate of males, it is evident the number of young men, who were from 12 to 17 years old, stood at 4%. This proportion increased nearly to 6% as soon as they were in the period of 18 – 39. Then, they were more unhappy at the age of 40 – 59, which represented about 7%. After that, the number of over 60 years old males decreased significantly to approximately 3%. Turning to the female depression rate, it can be seen that there were over 7% of women in the 12 – 17 age group underwent sadness. Subsequently, this proportion continued gradually rising to 9% in the years of 18 – 39. The percentage of males of 40 – 59 years old reached a peak of just over 12%. In spite of this, this rate dropped sharply to 7% when they were more than 60 years old. Although the number of both genders in all age groups who experienced unhappiness changed dramatically over the given period and they had a big difference in the comparison together, the average number were seemed to not really different.
