The two pictures compare the layout of Paradise Island as it was in the past and present day. Overall, it is apparent that the paradise Iceland has been domestically transformed over the given period. To begin with an old map, there was a scientific research station situated in the western part of Iceland. On the opposite side of it, a natural spring was located on the North-East. There was a pier situated to the Western side and it was used for both, but now the pier is extended and utilised for a cruise ship. Similarly, to the northwest corner of the map, a beach was formed and in the present day, swimming is permitted. A new swimming pool form to the Northside of the hotel complex. Furthermore, the scientific research station was located on the west side of Iceland, which was replaced by a hotel complex. A new open restaurant is constructed over the place of trees in the centre of Iceland. It is connected to the hotel complex by a small path. The BBQ area is developed to the east-west of the restaurant. There is no change occurred in the natural spring, but the cafe is built to the east west.
