The layout depicts the Foaster Road before and after the changes proposed for the local authorities. Overall, the road is going to undergo significant changes both in terms of traffic and appearance. The changes are aimed at creation of convenient conditions for pedestrians and supported by an eco-friendly action. To begin with, the sidewalks will have been expanded by shrinking the main road in order to ensure the safety of footwalkers. Before there have used to be more narrow sidewalks and wider road. Furthermore, to facilitate the pedestrian traffic a new crossing will be introduced, right in front of the gas station. Another major alteration would be the plantation of trees along the entire street to make it greener and more appealing. To reduce the pollution caused by vehicles and compensate the reduced traffic on the road new bicycle lanes will be built on both sides of the Foaster street.
