The given diagram illustrates the process of collection and treatment of the rainwater in order to use as a consumable water in an Australian town using different stages. Overall, it can be seen that process has five main stages which starts with the collection of impure water from homes and ends with the distribution of purified water to the same houses. To specific, the process began with the collection of rainwater which flows from the rooftops of houses into the drains via pipes. Additionally, the drained water from every household is then taken to a common underground pipeline which leads to the filteration. After this, impure water is then filtered with the help of water filter and collected in a large storage tank for further processing. Moving further, in the next step involves water taken from the storage tank by pipes into the water treatment, where in it gets treated with some chemicals in order to make it fit for consumption. In the last stage, once water is treated and made ready for drinking, it travels along the pipes that lead back to houses where folks can use it for daily basic works.
